Dganith Hadda

Dganith founded Beit Ruth for children with learning disabilities on 1985.
The main goal of the center was to provide multi dimensional treatment for the students, using holistic methods.
The children at Beit Ruth received in their treatment program remedial teaching, occupational therapy, rehabilitation of basic functions, art therapy, music therapy, therapeutic game center and more.
The main guidelines of the work at Beit Ruth were and continue to be:
Holistic approach to the child and therefore the treatment includes instruction as well as relating to the emotional needs of the child. The program also integrates individual work with the child as well as group work aimed to improve social skills
Individual program adapted to the child’s specific learning disabilities and neuropsychological characteristics.
Collaborative work of the staff. Teachers and therapists are divided to teams who plan and follow up together the work with the child and initiates changes in the program according to the child’s progress.
Collaborative relationship with all the relevant surroundings of the child: school, family, family physician, neurologist, psychologist and other relevant people.
High quality of the work in all areas including monitoring of the work done in each area.
Treatment is intensive and is aimed to start as early as possible in the child’s stage of formal education.
The program integrates strengths of the child as well as his weak points.

Dganith served as a role model of perseverance, persistence and loyalty to the organization and its goals.


Education:
M.A. in Education, Haifa University, 1987. Dganith added to the program courses in neurology and brain functions in the faculty of medicine at the Technion, Haifa.
B.A. in Psychology and Education, Haifa University
